What Do You Need to Rent a Vehicle?
- A valid credit card.
- A valid driver’s license from your country of origin.
- Valid identification documents.
- A minimum rental period of 3 days (72 hours).
- Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received.
Important

- In case of an accident or medical emergency, call 911 immediately and inform us as soon as possible.
Rental Period Extension
- The renter agrees to return the vehicle to the company at the address stated in the rental agreement, no later than the date and time specified.
- If an extension is required, this must be arranged in advance.
- Late returns will incur a fee of XCG 50 per day (excluding VAT), in addition to the rental fee.
- Early returns do not qualify for a refund of unused rental days.
Exceeding the Rental Period
- If the vehicle is not returned to Virtue Car Rental or a designated third party within the agreed rental period or approved extension, Virtue Car Rental reserves the right to reclaim the vehicle immediately.
- The renter’s obligations remain valid until the vehicle is back in the company’s possession. A penalty of XCG 50 per day (excluding VAT) will apply until retrieval. Any part of a day is counted as a full day.
- Any legal or collection costs incurred will be charged to the renter.
Cancellation Policy
- Reservations can be cancelled at any time.
- If you purchased Cancellation Insurance (USD 20), cancellation is free of charge.
- Without Cancellation Insurance, a USD 150 no-show fee applies for failure to pick up the vehicle without notice.
- Please inform us of any cancellations as early as possible, regardless of insurance selection.
Services
- Child Seats – We care about your safety. If you require a child seat, let us know during booking, and we’ll have it ready for you.
- Comprehensive Insurance Coverage – Basic third-party insurance is included in every rental. For added protection, you can upgrade to comprehensive coverage, which includes vehicle damage and third-party protection (a deductible applies). Let us know during booking if you wish to upgrade.
- Airport Pickup Service – Virtue Car Rental is one of the few independent rental companies in Curaçao authorized for airport pickup and drop-off. We are located just 2 minutes from the airport.
- Online Check-In Option – Save time at the counter with our online check-in. After booking, you’ll receive a check-in form by email or WhatsApp. Complete it ahead of time and we’ll have everything ready upon your arrival.
